The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is proposing to replace several structures at the existing Squaw Valley Forest Fire Station. The project would provide a new two-engine facility on the site and would include the following support structures: a 12-bed barracks approximately 2,968 square feet (sf); a 3-bay apparatus building approximately 1,994 sf; an office approximately 512 sf; a flammable storage building approximately 150 sf; and a pump house of approximately 80 sf. Project requires the demolition of some existing buildings.
