Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a lake and streambed alteration agreement pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, [Ms. Jennifer Glorioso representing the Mattole Restoration Council]. The applicant proposes to do various fish habitat restoration projects on Mill Creek, a tributary of the Mattole River, Humboldt County. Project is to improve quality and quantity of summer and winter salmonid habitat along Mill Creek through the replacement of seven undersized culverts at stream crossings, and the elimination of seven existing crossing sites in connection with permanent closure of road segments. Project will also place rock armoring and repair bank failure along creek.
