Document Description
This project will use grant funds approved by the California Legislature to initiate activities that are designed to restore coastal streams and watersheds to a sustainable habitat level that historically has produced large populations of salmon and steelhead. Bank stabilization treatments will improve spawning conditions and embryos survival by reducing sediment yield to streams. Upslope road decommissioning or repair will also help address this widespread problem.
