Document Description
The project involves a master plan revision to the existing California State University Long Beach (CSULB) Master Plan to allow for the future construction of a new UCES Building. The new UCES building would be constructed to support ongoing programs offered through the existing CSULB's UCES Program. The building site is approximately 440 feet long and 70 feet wide, spanning the entire length of Parking Lot 12. The proposed building addition would be two stories in height and would encompass approximately 36,200 gross square feet. The athletic office currently occupying the northeast corner of the site would be removed to make room for the new building. In the future, the building may be extended further west by approximately 6,000 to 8,000 gross square feet to provide opportunities for expansion to meet the needs of the institution. The building would be located at the north end of the George Allen fields bordered on the north and east by parking lots, to the south and west by athletic fields, and to the northwest by the University Music Center.
