Document Description
The proposed project is the update of the Artesia Housing Element which was last adopted in June 1989. The purpose of the Housing Element is to provide suitable housing for all residents of Artesia regardless of income, age, race, religion, gender or ethnic background. This Housing Element sets forth the City's five-year strategy to address the community's housing needs. It includes the preservation and enhancement of the community's residential character, the expansion of housing opportunities for all economic segments of the community, and the provision of guidance and direction for local government decision-making in all matters relating to housing.
