The proposed project consists of a 4,235-foot extension of Taxiway C. Associated improvements include a perimeter road and support infrastructure. Other components include a 25 foot high sound wall and the relocation of air cargo and fuel loading/unloading facilities. A series of land exchanges between the SDUPD and the Marine Corps will occur to facilitate the Taxiway extension construction.
