Coastal Development Permit No. 12-067, Variance no. 13-037, and Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 13-004 - An application for construction of the Dan Blocker Beach public day use picnic and viewing area that includes a paved public parking lot for 14 vehicles with 90 minute pay-station parking and 1 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant parking stall, a locking entry gate, a 242 square foot , 13 feet high, public restroom facility, a concrete picnic area with concrete picnic tables, 3 viewing areas with concrete benches and curbs and surfaced with decomposed granite, alternative onsite wastewater treatment system, "No Parking" signs along frontage with Pacific Coast Highway, cable rail and chain link fencing, landscaping, grading, monument sign, traffic regulators and signs, drainage and stormwater dispersal wall, and site amenities including bicycle racks, drinking fountains, and 2 dedication pedestals, including a variance request for a reduced bluff setback.
