Drainage improvements in the Cyrus Canyon ephemeral drainage course, located on the south side of the Kern Valley Sanitary Landfill and Transfer Station. The improvements include: 1) Excavating, grading and filling portions of the ephemeral drainage course; 2) Construction of erosion control structures in the ephemeral drainage course; 3) Ancillary construction related to the State Mandated Closure of the Kern Valley Sanitary Landfill; 4) Acquisition of United States Forest Service property, or right-of-way through said property, located west of the Kern Valley Sanitary Landfill and Transfer Station.
