An amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan and Carbon Canyon Specific Plan which reduces residential density by 30 percent for specific areas both within the incorporated boundaries of the City of Brea, as well as in the City's Sphere of Influence.
An amendment to the Circulation Element of the General Plan that would provide for the removal of Valencia Avenue north of Lambert Road and Carbon Canyon Road and Tonner Canyon Road east of the Orange (57) Freeway from the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways (MPAH) and reclassify Whittier Boulevard and Puente Street north of Central Avenue from a Secondary to Local street (both actions require concurrence from the Orange County Transportation Authority).
