The project is a proposed mixed-use development at the Santa Fe Freight Yard consisting of an 88,096 square foot architectural school; 39,895 square feet of office space; 188,325 square feet of commercial/retail space and 408 residential units. The site is 10.6 acres and was formerly occupied by the Santa Fe Railway Freight Station and is zoned M3-1. The requests are as follows: (1) Parcel Map to divide into 4 parcels; (2) Conditional Use to allow transfer of developable floor area between the parcels; (3) Variances for reduced parking, use as a University and use for live/work spaces and student housing; (4) Site Plan Review.
