Document Description
The project consists of the construction of pipelines, ion exchange treatment facilities, and evaporation ponds necessary to remove nitrate from 1,500 acre-feet of pumped groundwater annually. The project is designed to allow the District to meet existing demand for potable water in the urbanized Yucca Valley region. The proposed project is consistent with local municipality and District goals to minimize or reduce its dependence on imported water.
