Document Description
This project consists of repairing approximately 90 feet of severely eroded stream bank on Santa Rosa Creek at Fair Oaks Court. The failing strea bank is threatening an existing city street and a sewer line. The proposed work will include placement of a rock toe, excavation of loose soil, placement of backfilled geogrid on the bank, and replanting with native tree and shrub pieces. Mature trees at the toe of the bank will not be removed. All work work will be done above the level of ordinary high water and outside the flowing stream. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number R3-2001-0031 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Glen Wright/City of Santa Rosa Public Works.
