Document Description
The applicant proposes to culvert portions of three drainages at 4456 Foothill Road, Pleasanton, in order to accommodate road widening and development. Widening of Foothill Road will require replacing approximately 115 feet of stream with 100 feet of 24-inch diameter culvert and headwall. On the northwest corner of the project site two culverts will be constructed, one new and the other replaced. The new culvert will be approximately 45-feet long with a 50-square-foot riprap outfall energy dissipater (10 x 5). The replacement culvert will be approximately 65-feet long with a 50-square-foot riprap outfall energy dissipater (10 x 5). This project also includes planting native riparian trees and shrubs along the top of bank. The trees and shrubs will be maintained and monitored for 5 years, and the applicant will provide a monitoring report to the Department yearly. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1376 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Phil Rowe/Delco Builders and Developers.
