Test wells will be drilled throughout the area to determine the soil conditions and ground water elevations. Additionally, exploratory trenches will be excavated to evaluate the Pinon Hill Fault and suitability of dam axis and abutments. This information will be used for determining the feasibility and potential design of a storage facility for the east branch aqueduct system.
