Document Description
Vegetation control project to eradicate invasive alien plants and trees within areas of thick riparian forest. Girdling and herbicide application will be used, with dead vegetation removed or left as wildlife habitat, as appropriate. Annual control will continue indefinitely to prevent reestablishment of invading species and maintain native plant cover as it recolonizes the cleared areas. Elderberry bushes (habitat for Valley elderberry longhorned beetle) will be avoided.
