Document Description
The County of Marin proposes to construct a 200' by 3' by 5' box culvert along the Petaluma Pt. Reyes Road just west of the intersection of Novato Boulevard. The purpose of the box culvert is to allow widening of the road for constuction of a turn lane. Currently an unnamed ephemeral drainage tributary to Arroyo Sausal flows as a roadside ditch along the road where the culvert would go. This unnamed tributary to Arroyo Sausal Creek is an emphemeral roadside ditch with no ability to support aquatic life. All the vegetation in the stream within the project area is ruderal, introduced grasses. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number # R3-2001-0057 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
