Document Description
The United Auburn Indian Community proposes to construct a gaming and entertainment facility. The facility will include a Wastewater Treatment Plant for treatment of all the wastewater generated at the facility. Treated wastewater will be used on-site for landscape irrigation. Wastewater unused for irrigation will be discharged to an unnamed tributary of Orchard Creek. The discharge of treated wastewater to this water of the United States requires the United Auburn Indian Community to obtain a permit under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES permit) from the Regional Water Quality Control Board. The Regional Water Quality Control Board issued the Waste Discharge Requirements/NPDES permit for the Wastewater Treatment Plant on 16 March 2001.
