Document Description
The proposed project is the clearance of vegetation on two parcels with a total of 5 acres at the University of California Monterey Bay Education, Science, and Technology Center (UC MBEST Center). Vegetation on the site will be sprayed with the herbicide "Roundup," chopped with a flail mower, and left in place to act as a dust palliative. Although the proposed project was not specifically contemplated in the Marina Airport EIR, similar activities on similar sites were foreseen and analyzed.
