Document Description
The applicant impacted 0.323 acre of stream with fill to construct temporary access and conduct geotechnical borings for the Santiago Hills II project. The Agreement is being written after-the fact to incorporate the onsite restoration measures and the off-site compensation measures. The applicant shall mitigate as described in the submitted documents and as follows: (a) Restore the 0.323 acre of stream by removing all of the fill, restoring the contours, implementing the erosion control plan, replacing pre-existing top soil to facilitate natural recruitment, and keep the area free of invasive species; and (b) Eradicate 0.97 acre of Arundo and other invasive species from the upper reaches of Silverado Creek, tributary to Santiago Creek.
