Document Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will conduct a clearance of ordnance and explosives (OE) in three sectors within the Former Benicia Arsenal as a risk reduction measure. OE that is safe to move will be transported to a controlled demolition area in the Sector and detonated, OE that is unsafe to move will be blown in place. The project has been designed to prevent and buffer any public exposure to intentional and unintentional detonations. The clearance will take 14 weeks and begin in mid-spring.
