Document Description
The Coast Guard proposes to select a long-term location for Air Station Sacramento. The three locations being considered are McClellan Air Force Base (Sacramento), Travis Air Force Base (Fairfield), and Beale Air Force Base (Yuba County). At present, the air station is composed of four HC-130 fixed-wing aircraft, 151 personnel, and equipment furnishing a hangar, nose dock, administration facilities, and support buildings. The new AIRSTA Sacramento facilities would be designed to accommodate possible future expansion of the air station's mission, which add four aircraft and 100 personnel to the mission, bringing the totals to eight HC-130 aircraft and 251 personnel.
