Document Description
As part of the Northern Regional Library facility (NRLF) program, the campus proposes an addition of approximately 66,682 gross square feet (GSF) due north and east of the existing Phase 2 building. The new building would be designed to house 2.2 million volumes of books for the campus and other UC northern systems. The addition would provide capacity for library deposits through approximately the year 2013. The NRLF-3 design also includes an addition to the existing reading room and staff area which is located near the entryway of the NRLF. With this addition, 20 of the existing 25 parking spaces will be relocated north of Phase 1, paralleling Regatta Boulevard.
