Document Description
The proposed East Connector Roadway Project will consist of a two-lane controlled access divided arterial with 3.6 mile lanes and 1.8 mile paved shoulders classified as Class II bicycle lanes that will provide a direct connection from State Route (SR) 299 across from Glen Road to SR 3 across from Five Cent Gulch Street. The bridge crossing over the East Weaver Creek will be concrete structure, consisting of either a reinforced concrete cast in place box grider structure on spread footings or a flat slab structure with piles, and will be approximately 55 meters long. A new traffic signal is proposed at the East Connector Roadway intersection with SR 299 and Glen Road. In addition to the East Connector Roadway, an asphalt or concrete paved Class I Bikeway, at least 2.4 miles wide, is proposed adjacent to Levee Road, including a pedestrian/bicycle bridge crossing of East Weaver Creek near Lowden Road.
