The structure will provide work space for park rangers, stewards and volunteers, storage space for habitat restoration tools, public restrooms, and a public meeting room for education and orientation of visitors and volunteers. The building has been designed with "green" construction techniques and will involve a minimum of excavation or soil disturbance at the site.
