Document Description
The Occidental Community Services District (CSD) Water Project involves a connection to the Camp Meeker Recreation and Park District water system. The ultimate source of water would be from the Russian River. A new well with 20 horsepower pump would be constructed near the site of the existing Camp Meeker well in Monte Rio. An additonal 70 gallons per minute would be pumped into the existing Camp Meeker system from the new well. Occidental CSD would connect to the system at Hampton Road, located approximately 0.7 miles north of the Community of Occidental on Bohemian Highway. A 6-inch water main is proposed to be installed within existing right-of-way. The new main would connect to an existing six inch main at Third Street in Occidental to fill two 125,000 gallon reservoirs, located at a higher elevation. A booster pump would be installed on public land with in Occidental.
