Document Description
As part of the development of a one-acre site into an apartment complex, the operator proposes to discharge storm water runoff into the Ohlone Greenway, approximately 240' south of Schmidt Lane, in El Cerrito, Contra Costa County. An earthen channel approximately 40' long and 1-2' wide bed width with 3:1 side slopes will be constructed and lined with appropriate channel-liner material. This channel will be tied into the east bank and planted with local native trees and shrubs. The project is located at the Ohlone Greenway, approximately 240' south of Schmidt Lane, in El Cerrito, Contra Costa County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0839 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Jim Blake / The Matteson Companies.
