Document Description
The proposed project includes changing the wastewater treatment facility to a multi-step wastewater treatment system with major features such as facultative oxidation ponds; constructed treatment wetlands; ultraviolet disinfection; enhancement wetland; and treated effluent land application, stream discharge, and biosolids management. The project proposes to expand onto a larger site and change the point of discharge for treated effluent. A portion of the existing treatment plant would be utilized for primary treatment and biosolids storage prior to landfill disposal and/or stabilization prior to land application. Secondary and tertiary treatment would be conducted on the adjacent 160 acres.
