Document Description
The applicant proposes to alter the streambed and bank by the installation of three utility pipes (sewer main, sludge force main and recycled water pipeline) on the west side of Aliso Creek from Alicia Parkway to the Southern Orange County Wastewater Authority Coastal (SOCWA) Treatment Plant in the City of Laguna Niguel. SOCWA also proposes to keep an existing 36" pipe in operation as an effluent transmission main to convey secondary effluent from upstream plants to the SOCWA Ocean Outfall. In addition to the installation of the new pipes, SOCWA proposes to construct a new paved access and bike road and crushed granite hiking trail on behalf of the County of Orange. The new access and bike road and hiking trail would be placed primarily over the newly installed mains, but the hiking trail would deviate from the access road at several points.
