Document Description
The project will widen and improve approximately 22,900 linear feet (4.34 miles) of roadway and construct approximately 12,300 feet of bike path along the existing alignments of Imjin Road and segments of Blanco and Reservation Roads in the northwesterly portion of former Fort Ord. Roadway improvements include sidewalks, medians, bus stops, traffic signals, utilities and percolation basins. The bike path will consist of a 10-foot wide paved section with 2-foot shoulders on each side. Construction of the bike path will include some grading for cut and fill slopes along most of its length, and low retaining walls in three segment. The project will result in impacts to sand gilia, a State threatened species, which will be mitigated off-site.
