Document Description
The City of Port Hueneme is updating its Housing Element for the 2000-2005 period pursuant to the update cycle for jurisdictions within the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) region. The Housing Element reflects the unique realities of Port Hueneme as a coastal community, with limited amount of vacant land for development. The population of Port Hueneme is approximately 23,400 residents and the housing stock is comprised of approximately 8,000 units.
