Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to construct new left turn lanes on Los Berros Road at its intersections with El Campo Road (both north & south). Construction will occur over an approximate three month period and will involve widening the roadway to 48 feet to accommodate two 12 foot through lanes, a single 12 foot center left turn lane, and six foot paved shoulders. 1.9 acres of additional permanent right-of-way will be needed for the project; no temporary traffic detours will be required because traffic through the construction site will be maintained. The project also includes the relocation of an existing oil pipeline within the project limits. The project is located on Los Berros Road at its intersections with El Campo Road, approximately 1 mile east of Valley Road, southeast of the City of Arroyo Grande, in southern San Luis Obispo County.
