Privately owned parcels, slated acquisition for the landfill, are planned as open space and currently zoned residential. Rezoning of these parcels occurs as they are acquired.

The revised permit includes the following:
* Increasing the permitted acreage from 116.22 total acres, 77 disposal to 121.17 total acres, 77 disposal acres;
* Increasing the permitted tonnage from 395 peak tons per day to 1,100 tons per day.
* Increasing the permitted traffic from 30 vehicles per day to 440 vehicles per day.
* Adding a construction and demolition processing facility;
* Adding a green waste chipping and grinding operation;
