The project involves the routine maintenance, by the Santa Barbara County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, of the portions of Mission, Arroyo Burro, Sycamore, and San Pedro Creeks located within the City's Coastal Zone. Maintenance activities would be completed prior to the winter season and include activities such as selective brushing, herbicide spraying, channel shaping and bank stabilization, bank protection, repair, repair of lined channels, and channel desilting. These actions would be applied individually or collectively, depending upon the maintenance requirements of the affected drainage.
