Document Description
This is a project to replace the Henness Pass Road bridge, which was destroyed by flooding several years ago. The replacement bridge will have the same number of lanes (one) as the damaged bridge and will be slightly longer. The replacement bridge will not have a support in the middle of the river, but the project includes removal of the existing bridge which does have a middle support. Rock slope protection will be placed in the active stream to protect the abutments, but will not restrict the waterway.
