Document Description
Approximately 105 linear feet of the channel will be stabilized with approximately 98 cubic yards of fill. Large rocks will be strategically placed in a design that will settle as the tributary naturally incises. Some rock slope protection will be placed along the toe of the channel for additional erosion protection. Bioengineering will be used with rock to help stabilize the slope and to restore riparian vegetation. The toe of the re-constructed channel will be planted with willow cuttings and areas of the upper slope that are disturbed from equipment access will be planted with cuttings of willow and dogwood. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Permit Number #R3-2000-1098 pursuant to Fish and Game code Section 1603.
