Document Description
During 1996, the Marin Community College District participated in a statewide seismic survey of all community college districts sponsored by the State Chancellor's Office and conducted by the Seismic Program, Professional Services Branch of the Real Estate Services Division of the State Architect. Subsequently, the District was informed that the Fine Arts Building on the Kentfield Campus is in need of seismic retrofit. Therefore, the project will correct the seismic deficiencies as noted by the above mentioned Seismic Program.
