Document Description
The project area will correct present conditions of flooding and uncontrolled runoff through the City right-of-way and through private and public parcels. The Tahoe Valley and lower Gardner Mountain watershed areas will be constructed first and will include type AC berms, drainage pipes, sediment traps, Caltrans modified headwalls and replanted sod micro cells and channels to function as a sediment and nutrient reduction facility. The second area (in the Upper Gardner Mountain watershed) will construct concrete curb and gutter, AC berms, drainage pipes, drop inlets, sediment traps, vegetated drainage swales to promote improved drainage and flow. Revegetation will be included within the entire project area.
