Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number R2-2001-489 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Solano County Transportation Department. This agreement pertains to replacement of the Flannery Road Bridge (Bridge 23C-201) at The Big Ditch in Solano County. The existing two span wooden structure (37.4 ft by 22 ft) will be replaced with a larger reinforced concrete slab structure (87.9 ft by 27.5 ft). The new bridge will retain the same alignment and location as the existing bridge. To reduce erosion damage to Flannery Road, a 133 ft. long section of The Big Ditch will be realigned south of the existing bridge. The banks and slopes adjacent to The Big Ditch will be revegetated and portions will be stabilized with rock slope protection.
