Document Description
The operator proposes to install a 10 inch gravity fed public sewer main from the Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District treatment plant, within the public right of way of Eighth Street East, to a point south of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad spur line. The operator will trench across Schell Creek using a backhoe or excavator. All trenching will be done from the top of bank when feasible. A small 6 foot backhoe will be allowed to enter the dry creekbed to trench a small section inaccessible from the bank. The pipeline will pass beneath Schell Creek and be fully encased in 6 inches of concrete for protection and to prevent undercutting of the pipe. Cement bags and large rock riprap will be removed from the south bank to complete the trenching. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0655 pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Bob Smalley.
