Document Description
The project is a request for a Major Revision to the approved Conditional Use Permit P80-83 to permit the construction of a two-story, 28,494 square foot customer service building which will house the Padre Dam Municipal Water District's administrative offices and customer service functions. The project also includes the following features: exterior remodeling of the existing 5,500 square foot administration building, construction of a new main entrance for both the customer service center and park day-use activities from Fanita Parkway to replace the existing public entrance on Carlton Oaks Boulevard, relocation of the existing entrance station from Carlton Oaks Boulevard to the southern end of Lake 2, reconfiguration and expansion of the existing parking facilities, an approximately 19,000 square foot expansion and reconfiguration of the existing operations yard, construction of a new 13,600 square foot warehouse building and additional covered parking and storage space in the operations yard area and replacement of the existing chemical odor control facility with a new 3,000 square foot biological filter odor control facility in the southwest corner of the site. Other project features will include extensive landscaping, water feature, garden areas and an amphitheater.
