Document Description
The site contains approximately 1,300 acres of agricultural land, and consists of three parcels: the "Meyers Property" (538 acres), the "255- acre site", and the 508- acre newly acquired "Spreckles Sugar site". This initial study is an environmental evaluation of the phased implementation of Meyers Farm Groundwater Banking Project. Project components include the existing 52 acres of groundwater recharge basins, with 156 existing recharge shafts capable of a minimum of 310 acre- feet of storage per year, and 16 modified shafts constructed within a one-acre enclosure in an existing basin.
