Document Description
The proposed "project" involves the installation of a Phase 2 composite liner within the existing Savage Canyon Landfill, located in the City of Whittier. The landfill is a Class lll waste disposal facility consisting of 132 acres, owned and operated by the City of Whittier Public Works Department. According to the existing Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWFP), the facility is permitted for the disposal of non-hazardous municipal waste only. The facility's current operations are governed by the SWFP issued 2/22/95.
