Document Description
Agreed work includes activities associated with the seismic retrofit of the Grayson Road Bridge at Laird Park. The project will modify two hinges within the existing bridge by adding hinge extenders. Ten- to twelve-inch cobble rip-rap will also be added as supports pile at bents 8, 11 and 12. Erosion control on the floodplain using clean fill material is also planned. Minimal vegetation in the construction area will be removed and/or trimmed. The flood plain and river channel above the banks full discharge elevation will be changed to prevent erosion in the bridge area.
