A research project to develop prototype manufacturing technology and demonstrate the feasibility of using a composite reinfoced aluminum conductor in applications dominate by the standard aluminum conductor. The reinforced conductor has superior power transmission and can carry digital and analog signals for communications and conductor diagnostics.
