The US Department of the Navy (Navy) is in the early stages of preparing an Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) for the Naval Radio Transmitter Facility (NRTF). The NRTF is a 1,280-acre facility located approximately seven miles south of the city of Dixon in Solano County, California. The facility consists of a single 24,000 square foot transmitter building, associated antenna fields, and related support facilities. The NRTF is the Navy's primary transmitter facility used in support of communication requirements of the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station and the Eastern Pacific Operations Area.
