The Town of Mammoth Lakes is developing a non-motorized trail system within its corporate boundary. Lake Mary Road has been identified as an on-street bike route in the Mammoth Lakes Trail System Plan and in the General Bikeway Plan. This project will consider the two alternative bike path locations described above to implement a grant to provide non-motorized circulation and access from Lake Mary Road at Minaret Road to the Horseshoe Lake parking lots within the Lakes Basin.
