Document Description
Within the site of its WPCF, and to meet current maximum month WAS flows, the District would: (1) Replace 2 existing WAS pumps in an existing wetwell with 2 new similar pumps, and (2) replace 3 Dissolved Air Flotation Thickeners (DAFTs) with a single new Gravity Belt Thickener (GBT) unit within a new concrete slab area, which will be provided with a canopy and enclosed on 3 sides for protection from the elements. The DAFTs will be retained as an inactive standby process to the new GBT.
