Document Description
The Sheldon Road/State Route 99 Interchange Improvement Project (Alternative 2A, Option 1) consists of the reconstruction and expansion of the existing interchange structure to improve operational deficiencies, traffic safety, and to accommodate anticipated future traffic volumes. The project site is located at the existing Sheldon Road/State Route 99 interchange site. A majority of the project site is located within the City of Elk Grove, but a small portion of the northwest quadrant of the site is located within the southern portion of the City of Sacramento. Project features include a new overpass structure, improvements to the on- and off-ramps, intersection improvements and frontage road alignments.
