Document Description
The applicants propose to circulate water through the acreage to reduce the possibility of avian disease outbreaks. The total amount of water applied for is 51,117 acre-feet per year. The maximum diversion rate for PCGID is 290 cubic feet per second (cfs), and for PID is 483.25 cfs. Water will be diverted primarily from the new, jointly-operated Sidds Landing Pumping Plant on the Sacramento River, which is equipped with fish screens. Maximum diversion from this location will not exceed 605 cfs. Additional water will be diverted from the Colusa Basin Drain and from other canals and drains in the project area.
