Placer County Water Agency is proposing to install flood erosion protection measures at the Ralston Powerhouse switchyard, in the form of a reinforced concrete floodwall about 180 feet long by 20 feet high, for the purpose of protecting the switchyard from erosion damage during major storms, and to prevent potential environmental damage, and to enhance electrical system reliability.
